Imagination

This was a project I created for a class. I wanted to illustrate the idea of child-like wonder vs reality. The world seemed so big and limitless as a child. Even as a child I remember thinking I could do anything when I "grew up." But with time, all that imagination and wonder leaves us and we become adults wishing for the simpler days. I created the poster in Illustrator using various tools such as the pen tool, the gradient tool, and several different brushes. All of the tiny illustrations you see in the question mark I designed by hand, save a few found in the symbols panel.
